Our experience with John Krawec and the Just Be Strong Gym has been a fantastic experience. He has opened his doors to many Special Olympians. He has allowed the powerlifting group, The Power and the Glory to use his facility for free every Sunday morning. In addition the gym has created a second program for Strongman workouts for individuals with special needs. His generosity has open new doors and opportunities for our athletes. Through the efforts of John and his members and staff, our athletes have been welcomed with open arms and made to feel a part of the gym family. 

 

On personal level, John has welcomed my son Ryan into his gym. Ryan feels like part of the community there and spends numerous hours through additional workouts and assisting in cleaning the gym two days a week

 I question how much cleaning he actually does at times, but John has made it clear that he is a active member of the community and has been accepted there. For Ryan, it is like a second home. 
 

I cannot thank John enough for his commitment to Special Olympics, his generosity and care he shows for all the athletes.

John is extremely knowledgeable in everything he takes on and is very easy going.

My son Michael loves attending Just Be Strong Gym with Special Olympics. Michael also enjoys his weekly Strongman evenings with the volunteers, John and his peers.

John Krawec has been working as our son’s personal trainer for the past year, and the experience has been exceptional. Zach is a member of the Special Olympics Powerlifting Club, which meets every Sunday at John’s gym, Just Be Strong. John has a kind and compassionate nature, and he consistently finds creative ways to engage with Zach. We are incredibly grateful for John’s dedication to individuals with special needs and his genuine desire to help them reach their full potential.
